I know what you’re thinking, “There are a lot of good websites to buy running shoes!” You’re absolutely correct, but which online shops provide great service and have an impressive inventory? That my friend separates the kids from the adults.
The counterfeiters are getting better and better, making it hard to differentiate real from fake, so it’s important to spend your money wisely online to ensure you’re buying authentic product.
That’s why I created this list because I’ve been scammed online before, and I’ve also experienced horrible customer service.
If you purchase your running shoes from the websites featured in this article, you can rest easy knowing you’ll receive good customer service and authentic shoes. Websites with plentiful inventory and various brands are also highlighted in this article.
Please feel free to leave a comment if you feel I left out any reputable and quality sites.
These are the best running shoe websites:
Road Runner Sports
You can always count on Road Runner Sports to have a large variety of running shoes in its inventory.
Pretty much any brand you can think of, chances are high that RRS has that brand in stock. A cool perk is VIP members can purchase items for under retail. Who doesn’t like saving money?!
This website has something for everyone: women, men, and kids! And in the event you have any questions, you can talk to a customer service rep via its 1-800 number.
Zappos
This isn’t the first website that comes to mind when shopping for running shoes. However, Zappos is one of the best in the business!
Not only do you receive A1 customer service, but often times you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for, plus experience Zappos’ free lightning fast shipping.
Sometimes you can find running shoes for cheaper prices, and in colors you haven’t seen offered on other websites. I don’t know if Zappos has a special account with the big brands, but its inventory/service rarely disappoints. F
Finish Line
This one is pretty obvious, but still needs to be mentioned in this list.
Although Finish Line‘s running inventory isn’t what it used to be, the big chain retailer still offers a nice amount of running shoes from various brands.
Finish Line also gives loyal customers opportunities to save money via its Winner’s Circle program. Even if you don’t shop at Finish Line often, you might get lucky and find a shoe you want on sale.
Foot Locker
Foot Locker is another obvious website for running shoes.
Its inventory is not as deep as other websites mentioned in this list, but the business is tried and true when it comes to being dependable.
Similar to Finish Line, you might get lucky and find the shoe you’re looking for on sale via Foot Locker’s online store. Saving money is a blessing!
Kelly’s Running Warehouse
The cool thing about Kelly’s Running Warehouse is if you’re unsure or have a question, you can speak to one of its Running Experts.
The site also stocks running shoes for kids, women, and men. Free fast shipping, hassle-free returns, and lots of brands in stock!
What more could you ask for?!
Nike
It’s hard to go wrong with Nike running shoes, but it’s all about personal preference at the end of the day.
If you’re a Nike fan, it’s a no brainer – make shopping easier by ordering via Nike.com. Get special discounts and offers if you’re a Nike Member.
Also, keep an eye on the clearance section for great deals on not only shoes, but gear as well! Pro tip: visit your nearest Nike Factory Store (aka outlet) for another chance to save money.
adidas
Whether you’re looking to Boost up your run or buy a new pair of your favorite model, adidas will take good care of you.
The insanely popular Ultra Boost is currently the face of adidas Running, and if you’re having trouble finding the color you want, adidas.com will most likely have it in stock.
You can also stay up to date with new adidas running shoes, and be the first to know when the shoe is available. Sometimes adidas will give you early access to new models as well as alert you about restocks and sales.
eBay
This list wouldn’t be complete without eBay.
How can anyone not like eBay? Well, there are a few fair reasons. But if you’re dealing with a reputable seller that has great feedback, eBay is lovely!
eBay is in a league of its own unlike the other sites featured in this list because you can shop for new, pre-owned, and models that are no longer in production. eBay definitely has some flexible perks!
The other cool thing about eBay is you can negotiate prices most of the time. You can also find tons of new running shoes for under retail.
Eastbay
Where would performance shoe retail be without Eastbay?
For the past 20+ years Eastbay has been a dependable source for buying authentic footwear from just about every brand you can name.
Depending on your age, you might remember the days of receiving a new Eastbay catalog, and then taking it to school to show your friends. Everyone would crowd around and point at what shoes they want.
If you owned the magazine, you would circle the shoes you wanted. Well, it’s 2019 now, and we don’t order from catalogs, but Eastbay.com gets the job done every single time!
Amazon
Whatever you’re looking for, Amazon has it!
That includes running shoes. A large variety of running shoes with a wide range of prices. I like the platform because often times you can find an older model that’s no longer in production on Amazon.
Some sellers are able to buyout older/overstock which allows them to sell the shoes for a much cheaper price. Similar to eBay, it’s important to pay attention to the seller’s feedback/reviews before purchasing an item.
The options are endless on Jeff Bezos’ life-changing website!
